Marketing Manager, San Jose, CA
Bradford Technologies Inc, a leader in developing Real Estate Appraisal Software and Services, is seeking a Marketing Manager. This full-time position is responsible for website content, collateral development, ad tracking and placement, event management and budget control.
The ideal candidate will be action oriented, and able to quickly drive decisions and growth. Must have strong understanding of both Sales and Marketing functions and capable of functioning in highly entrepreneurial environment.
The Marketing Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand market trends, discover and document unmet and under-served customer and market needs, define product strategies and direct product marketing, product management, and branding and communication activities to ensure brand awareness, identify growth opportunities, launch innovative products and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Job description. Duties include but not limited to:
1.
Marketing Communications: Ensure consistent communication to all
key constituencies, including key industry influencers, customers, partners and
internal audiences (brand positioning)
a.
PR: Write PR releases, work with key executive in managing PR
needs, interview schedule, speaking engagements etc.
b.
Social Media: Establish presence, define strategy and effectively
manage viral marketing/PR (FB, Twitter) for specific products; work with web
designer on updating/maintaining company websites
c.
Drive growth of our Online Community for small medium business
customer in the appraisal industry and develop consumer communications
d.
Marketing Collateral: Responsible for writing, designing,
producing and distributing of all marketing collateral
2.
Events Coordination
a.
Responsible for logistics: Planning of marketing materials,
registration of company attendees, booth material; manage development of marcom material; shipping and admin tasks for
all events the company attends
3.
Marketing Strategy
a.
Planning: Develop short
term and long term plans and budget for marketing/communications/PR program;
establish KPIs/dashboard, monitor progress and evaluate performance
b.
Trends, Industry Insights: Become the go-to person (repository)
for all trends impacting the industry and integrate industry developments to
communicate to existing and new customers
c.
Competitive Analysis: Drive insights from competitive offerings in
the appraisal software market; organize, analyze and communicate competitive
insights
d.
Market and Customer Research: Responsible for all market and
customer research; plan and coordinate efforts across product lines to drive
insights for promotions, positioning and other market initiatives
4.
Sales
Support: Support sales with marketing insights, messages, ads etc. to create
product promotions, pricing and assist sales with articulating the benefits of
the full breath of the product line
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent. MBA preferred
- Agency experience a plus
- Minimum 2-5 years successful marketing (online and offline) experience for a major software vendor and/or the real estate industry
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and execution skills
- Need to think strategically and work hands-on due to tasks and company sizeTechnical Competencies: PC, MS Office Suite, Salesforce preferred
