ClickFORMS version 4.1 released!

We’re pleased to announce the latest release of ClickFORMS, version 4.1. It is available for immediate download.

All customers who are current with their ClickFORMS Software Maintenance will receive an email directing them to the download site. Click here to download »

If your ClickFORMS Software Maintenance has expired, please call your account representative at 800-622-8727 (800-622-URAR) to renew and receive the version 4.1.

Following is an overview of the changes and enhancements to the software. Note that this will be the last time you will have to download an update. We have added an Automatic Updater so in the future, these updates will be automatic.

ADD YOUR BUSINESS LOGO TO REPORTS AUTOMATICALLY

Now you can automatically have your business logo added to your appraisal reports. Here is how to do it:

In the My ClickFORMS folder, we have added a new folder called Logo. All you have to do is place the image file containing your business logo in that folder. Whenever you add one of the new Cover pages with the Logo cell, your logo will be inserted onto the cover page. Logo images can be in any format. Use the Cell Image Preferences or Editor to zoom, crop and position your business logo.

IMPORT PDF FILES INTO REPORTS

With the new PDF Page Importer, you can import any file into the ClickFORMS Digital Container. On the left, we are importing Ann O'Rourke's Appraisal Today News Letter.

Located under the Insert menu, you can insert into a existing report container or if one is not open, a new one will be created for you. You can import one page or a range of pages. You have a choice of 4 different Exhibit pages in which to store the PDF: Letter with and without borders and Legal with and without borders.
You can even set the title of the exhibit as in "Sales Contract" before importing.


AUTOMATIC SOFTWARE UPDATING

Gone are the days of manually downloading updates. With our new automatic software updater, you will be able to get updates quickly and effortlessly.

You can set the preference when ClickFORMS should check for updates. You will want to do it at least once a month, if not more often.

Updates can consist of a few updated forms or a complete new executable for ClickFORMS. In most cases, the updates can be performed in minutes since only the changes will be downloaded.

ClickFORMS will check automatically, but if you want to check manually, you can by using the Help/Check for Updates menu item.



AUTOMATIC SOFTWARE REGISTRATION

To go along with our new Auto-Updater, we are also introducing Auto-Registration. When you download a new version of the software, you will no longer have to register the software. This will be performed for you automatically. The key to having auto-registration work properly, is to be current with your ClickFORMS Software Maintenance Membership. If your software maintenance membership has expired, auto-registration will not be able to unlock the new version of the software.


NEW FORMS
There were 29 forms added in this release, such as the new Letter of Engagement to help you comply with USPAP 2006 Scope of Work requirements. Here's a list of some of the others we added.

  • New Comparables Listings Analysis Form - We added this new Form due to the increasing number of requests for it. It is located in the Forms Library, Addendums Folder
  • New Cost to Cure Form - We added this new Form due to the increasing number of requests for it. It is located in the Forms Library, Addendums Folder
  • New Letter of Engagement Form - We added this new Form due to the increasing number of requests for it. It is located in the Forms Library, Covers Folder
  • New HomeFocus Desktop Valuation '06 - This new HomeFocus became mandatory on July 1st 2006. The older versions have been placed in the Archive Folder
  • New Appraisers Identification 2006 Form - Now USPAP 2006 Compliant, has been added to the Addendum Folder, the old form has been archived

  • Suggestion Window:
    • Cancel button now works
    • Added the ability to Copy/Cut/Paste text info into the Suggestions box.
  • Added the ability to Right Click on a cell and save the info as a Response.
  • AIReady Conversion:
    • Blank line above Garage/Carport now transfers on 1004, 2055, 1025
    • The Net and Gross % now transfers from all Forms
  • You can now Right Click on an Image Cell and select Image Editor.
  • Spell Checker - Modified so it will no longer check email addresses
  • Reviewer Enhancements:
    • Check Purchase Transaction Box when appropriate
    • Check contract price was above or below the opinion of market value
    • New AI Forms Review scripts
  • Toolbox Converter – Now converts to the redirected DB Paths
  • Auto-Adjustments – You can now delete saved Auto-Adjustments from the List
  • You can now delete multiple forms by using the Shift or CTRL Key
  • Updates tab has been added to Application Preferences
  • Use Price/Acre in Land form calculates (for the FNMA and AI forms)
  • “Enable Grid Math” was moved to this area
  • Year to Age calculation for the subject can be now turned off
  • The transfer of the word “yrs” can be stopped for the subject and comps
  • The transfer of the word “sf” can be stopped for the basement transfer to the Grid
  • The transfer of the words “sq ft” and “acre” can be stopped for site area
  • Alternative Calculation method for the Operating Income Statement
