ICE
In Case of Emergency
Paramedics will turn to a victim's cell phone for clues to that person's identity. You can make their job much easier with a simple idea that they are trying to get everyone to adopt: ICE. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. If you add an entry in the contacts list in your cell phone under ICE, with the name and phone no. of the person that the emergency services should call on your behalf, you can save them a lot of time and have your loved ones contacted quickly. Jeff Bradford Presents Technology Seminar
at ASA International Conference
|
On Monday Jeff Bradford was in Austin, Texas presenting a technology seminar at the American Society of Appraisers International Conference. The seminar was part of ASA’s continuing education program for Real Property appraisers. The topics covered were how to identify technologies that will be affecting the appraisal industry and how to determine when to adopt those technologies. This was a four hour seminar with valuable information for improving your business. In the coming months, we will be taking the information from this seminar and turning it into a Technology Series Webinars (i.e. online seminars). This way, everyone benefits from the information.
Our goal is to help you be as productive as possible, and taking advantage of new technology is one way to do it. But, you just want to adopt the technology at the right time. Adopt it too early and it may cost too much. Everyone has heard the stories of getting bleeding edge technology. On the other hand, if you are late in adopting technology, you will lose out on the benefits and advantages that could have been reaped. Adopting new technology is very similar to buying stocks and this new Technology Series Webinars will help you figure out what new technology to adopt and when so you optimize your technology investment. |
