New Motion Tablet PC Announced –
Be the First on Your Block to Own One
As you know, ClickTalk is a big fan of Mobile Appraising technology, and tablet PCs are probably our favorite tool. Motion Computing, considered by most as the best tablet PC for the money, has just announced a new tablet PC, the LE 1600. This newer model is, of course, faster and better than its predecessors – though not dramatically so. It’s 1.5GHz Centrino processor is slightly faster than the M1400s 1.1GHz processor, and its standard 512MB and 30GB hard drive provide greater capacity than its predecessor’s base configuration. The LE 1600 also incorporates DVI (digital video interface), a fairly new technology for downloading video. The LE 1600 is priced slightly higher than the M1400. This means you will have to decide whether you absolutely have to have the latest and greatest or whether you can get by with “older” technology.

Tech Tip – Web-Ex
This issue’s Tech Tip: attend the free webinars. Seriously. The webinars are an instructor-led training session that uses an interactive multi-media conferencing system called Web-Ex. We use Web-Ex in our training sessions and in our customer support department. Why should you care about Web-Ex? Because, it not only lets you not only hear the presentation, but also see it on your computer screen. This way you can physically see how a particular program or technological feature actually works on your computer. And you get to interact with the presentation. You can instant message questions to the presenter. It is an amazing tool that only Bradford Technologies offers.
Web-Ex is regarded as the state of the art in conferencing technology. And it costs a lot more than other technologies. However, we feel that it is well worth the expense as it provides a better learning experience for our customers.
