IN THIS ISSUE:
New Fannie Mae Forms - What's Going On? Last week Fannie Mae released three new appraisal forms on a test basis. The new forms are: * Uniform Residential Appraisal
Report (1004 dated May 2004) We have received may calls concerning these forms and whether we
would be supporting them. Do You Have Comments for Fannie Mae on the New Forms? Have you read the comments concerning the new forms on the ClickForms User Group Community? There are some very good comments. Unfortunately, they are scattered in various threads. So, we are starting a new thread entitled "New Form Comments For Fannie Mae". We encourage everyone to place your comments in this thread. After a period of time, we are going to take all the comments in this thread and send them to Fannie Mae. We think it is very important that they hear from you. In fact they should hear from our entire group. So if you have some thoughts on the new forms, please visit the ClickForms User Group on our website www.bradfordsoftware.com and type in your concerns. We will be releasing the new forms in the next release of ClickForms. Fannie Mae would like to hear from you especially after you have tested them. You can either send your comments to Fannie Mae directly or put them in the above mentioned thread. Either way, they will get your comments. The cost approach and income approach have been made optional. Let us know if you would like special addendums for doing a cost and income approach as an attachment to the new form. You can submit comments directly to Fannie Mae (either by sending them in an email message addressed to test_appraisal_forms@fanniemae.com or by regular mail addressed to Fannie Mae, Test Appraisal Forms, 3900 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Mail Stop 2H-4S-08, Washington, DC 20016) no later than September 15, 2004. Lenders and appraisers may continue to use the test appraisal report forms until June 1, 2005 for purposes of satisfying Fannie Mae's appraisal requirements. Paste-On Labels for Your Images This email announcement came across our desk and we thought we would pass it on. An appraiser has developed some arrow, number and textbox labels that you can use in MS Word. Apparently, MS Word now allows picture images to move on top of other picture images so it is simpler to annotate a map or other image. This could be very handy for commercial reports. Here's the info: Icons by Stuart Haxton Demo at: http://www.stuarthaxton.com/fastmaps/ Cost is $29.95 for an assortment of appraiser icons. ClickForms User Group Meeting in August If you are in the bay area or plan on attending the Appraisal Today Conference in August, plan on also attending the ClickForms User Group meeting that will be held in the evening. Details on the conference can be found at http://www.appraisaltoday.com/2004conference/2004_conference_home_page.htm. Have a Good Weekend Everyone Have a good weekend everyone.
