ClickFORMS User Group Update

Re-posting ClickFORMS Tip # 1 - Converting a URAR into a 2055

In this issue of ClickTALK, we are featuring the ClickFORMS Tip #1 - "Converting a URAR into a 2055" as many of you have recently called us and asked how this process works. So here it is.

Assume you have a URAR report of a property, and the lender now wants the report on the 2055 form. Here’s how to do the conversion:

Open the URAR report in ClickFORMS.
Drag an empty 2055 (from the Forms Library) into the URAR report window. The URAR report window is called the report container. The 2055 will be automatically populated with the corresponding URAR data.
If the URAR has extra comps, drag in a 2055 Extra Comps form. It will also be populated from the URAR Extra Comps page.
Now create a new empty report container. Do this using the "File / New" function or click on the left most toolbar button.
Drag the 2055 from the URAR report container into the new container.
Drag the 2055 Extra Comps from the URAR report into the new container.
Now drag whatever other addendums you need from the URAR into the new 2055 container. The other addendums could be the sketch; maps, photos, etc. (Note that when you drag a form from one container to another, a copy is made. You never lose the original form.)
You’re done. You now have two reports: The original URAR and a new 2055.

The 2055 and 2055 Extra Comps you added to the URAR are still there, so just delete them to retain your original URAR report, or close the window without saving.

Protect yourself from a Computer Virus

There seems to be no slow-down in computer viruses and worms. Last week, there was a computer worm referred to as "Gaobot". This week, it's "W32.Sasser.B.Worm". Unfortunately, these kinds of threats will not go away. In fact, they're becoming smarter and more dangerous. Hence, we strongly encourage you to take the following security measures.

Use a personal software or hardware firewall to protect your computers from network worms and intruders.
Download and install all available critical patches for your Windows operating system from the Microsoft web site: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
Use up-to-date anti-virus software to detect and remove computer worms/viruses. Here are a few anti-virus websites: www.norton.com and www.mcafee.com.
