ClickFORMS Tip #19: How to swap your
comparables
In ClickFORMS, you can easily swap your
comparables from one to another, remove the comparable grid data with a
single click or even sort your comparables by the adjusted sales
price, sales date, proximity and so forth. To swap your comparables, do
the following: Open your appraisal report in ClickFORMS and launch the
Comparables Editor by clicking on the Edit menu and Edit Comparables (or
CTRL + E). From the Comparables Editor window, highlight the comparable
that you want to move by single clicking on its title (i.e., Comp 1).
Then drag and drop it to the desired comparable number.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Launch ClickFORMS and open your
appraisal report.
- Click on the Edit menu and
Edit Comparables (or CTRL +E) to launch the Comparables Editor.
- From the Comparables Editor,
highlight the comparable that you want to move by placing your mouse
on the comparable title (i.e., Comp 1) and single clicking on it.

- Then drag (single click on the Comp
title, hold down your mouse) and drop the highlighted comparable to
the desired location, say to comp #2. See the image below.

- Click the OK button. You're done!
You've just swapped your comparable #1 with #2.
To use other features such as sorting,
copying, and deleting, click on the Sort By pull down list or click on
the pull down list located under the comparable title. See the image
below.

ClickFORMS
Tip #20: How to add a calculator into ClickFORMS
You
can add a calculator or any other programs (such as MS Word, Excel, etc)
that you can launch directly from ClickFORMS. To add a calculator into
ClickFORMS, do the following: Launch ClickFORMS, click on the Edit menu,
Preferences and Tools. From the Tools Preferences window, click on the
User Specified tab. Then click on the Select button
and browse to the ".exe" file of the program you want to add.
Step-by-step Instructions
- From ClickFORMS, click on the Edit
menu, Preferences and Tools. This will launch the Tools Preferences
window.
- Go to the User Specified tab
and click on the Select button
- this will bring-up the browse window.

- Browse
to the location where your calculator is located. Normally, it's
located at C:\WINDOWS\system32 and the file name is
"calc.exe."

- Select
the "calc.exe" file by single clicking on it and click on
the Open button - this will add the Calculator into ClickFORMS.

- Click
on the OK button from the Tools Preferences window.
- You're
done. You've just added a Calculator into ClickFORMS. Click on
ClickFORMS' Tools menu and Calculator to launch it.

ClickFORMS Tip #21: How to hide
unwanted forms from the Forms Library
You
can customize ClickFORMS' Forms Library. If you want to hide some of the
forms that you are not using, do the following: Exit out of ClickFORMS,
go to the Forms Library (the default location is C:\Program Files\Bradford\Clickforms),
open the folder (i.e., BPOs) where the forms are located, select the
form(s) (i.e., FMAC BPO) that you want to hide. Then MOVE (by
cutting and pasting) the selected files into your Forms Backup folder
located at ClickFORMS directory (C:\Program Files\Bradford).
Step-by-step
Instructions
- Exit
out of ClickFORMS.
- Go
to the Forms Library directory (the default location is C:\Program Files\Bradford\Clickforms)
by double clicking on My Computer icon from your desktop,
double click on your C drive, Program Files, Bradford, ClickFORMS
and Forms Library.
- Open the folder (i.e., BPOs) where
the form(s) that you want to hide are stored.
- Select the form(s) by single
clicking on it. Then click on the Edit menu and Cut.

- Go to the Forms Backup directory located
at ClickFORMS folder (C:\Program Files\Bradford) or you can hit the
Back button on your Explorer.

- Once
you're in the Forms Backup directory, click on the Edit menu and
Paste.
- You're
done. Repeat the same process for other forms.
Note:
we highly recommend that you DO NOT DELETE any forms. Once you launch
ClickFORMS, you will not see the forms that you have moved.
