Please consider going to the Appraisal Summit & Expo Conference in Las Vegas to get some first hand information on this product. As Alan Hummel, Senior VP – Chief Appraiser of Forsythe Appraisals stated, “this is a game changer”. As we progress in deployment and partnerships, we will keep you informed so please be on the lookout for CompCruncher news. This product was built to help you compete in the multi-billion dollar alternative valuation market place. Make sure you fully understand the opportunities.
CompCruncher™: Does It Really Work?
This is new technology and as you might expect everyone is asking “does it really work?” We spent nine months pilot testing and fine tuning it across the country with Forsythe Appraisal, so we know it works. And now that we have the attention of the major players in the market, they want to validate it for themselves. So we will be conducting validation tests in all areas of the country. If you would like to be the first in your area to take advantage of this new opportunity and be part of the tests, please call your ClickFORMS sales representative or go to http://www.appraisalworld.com/CompCruncher/join_cvr.php
This is the link to join the CompCruncher Network. In the comments just write that you want to be part of the validation tests.
CompCruncher™: Appraiser Network – Top 100 Cities
Our number one question from lenders who want a new solution and are tired of the inconsistent BPOs and the other “gap” products is: “Who can deliver these CVR reports?” In response, we are building a national network of appraisers skilled in delivering Collateral Valuation Reports (CVR). Below are the cities that we need coverage in immediately. If you work in one of these cities we strongly encourage you to consider getting the education and training necessary to provide CVRs. Below is the list cities where clients have told us they need coverage.

CompCruncher™ Education and Training – Why do I need to be trained and what’s involved?
The reason you need to be trained is that CompCruncher uses regression. We all studied statistics and regression in college, but not too many of us remember it very well. The other reason is that CompCruncher is NOT an automated valuation program where you throw in some data and it spits out a value. It does not have any pre-configured regression models for you to use. You have to define them! You define the market area. You determine what data to use. You build the model for the market based on the data for the market. You determine the components of value. You are in the driver seat! This requires training and a refresher course in stats. This is also why this product has generated so much interest. For the first time appraisers (regardless of the form-filler software they use) have a tool that helps them build trust and reliability in the valuations they produce. Major clients are asking for supportable adjustments, transparency in the analysis and a gage on accuracy. Now you can deliver it! We strongly encourage you to learn about the work we are doing.
CompCruncher™ Education and Training - Curriculum and Requirements:
1. Minimum 3 years appraising experience
2. Have to be an AppraisalWorld member
3. Have to have your identity authenticated
4. Have to upload your credentials to AppraisalWorld Credential Lockers
5. Have to upload your residential appraisal work history into AppraisalWorld
6. Complete the 7-module self paced online Statistics/Regression course – pass final exam.
7. Compete introductory online training with CompCruncher trainer
8. Complete 10 CVR test reports using CompCruncher
9. Complete 10 CVR reports in your own market
10. Final Review of local work product with CompCruncher trainer
Once you have completed the 10-step program you will receive the CVR Market Analysts certification.
CompCruncher™ Education and Training - How Long Does It Take?
Our experience is that you should devote a week in duration to become proficient. The first half is self-paced and may take only 4-6 hours. Once you start the actual training on using CompCruncher to produce CVR reports, allocate at least one hour per report. The first ones will take longer, toward the end it will take less time.
CompCruncher™: When will I get CompCruncher Orders?
We are working with major players in the market. As we go through the validation tests with them you will start to get orders. As we stated, we are looking for appraisers in the top 100 cities listed above. This is a first come, first serve situation. If there is an order in that city and you are the first to sign up and get certified, you will get the orders.
Thanksgiving Support Hours
We will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week as we celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. As always, if you have a question or issues please send an email to support as we are monitoring them every day.
We apologize for the long ClickTalk this week, but there is some important information we needed to share.
Thanks for supporting us. Be careful when you're out inspecting,
and don’t forget to tell your friends about ClickFORMS!
